Jennifer A. Mancuso<\/a> is a successful model turned lawyer. As a young girl of great poise and beauty, she was discovered by a major modeling agency while working at her parents’ luxury jewelry store. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back then, Jennifer began a career that would lead her to the position of judge in the prestigious event of world beauty such as the Miss Universe Canada pageant. At the same time, she was studying at York University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After graduating with honors, she attended law school and completed her law degree at the University of New Brunswick, along with the Negotiation program at the prestigious Harvard Law School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“After I was called to the Ontario bar and started practicing law, I was invited to judge the Miss Universe Canada pageant. For several years, I continued to practice law. At the same time, I continued to judge the Miss Universe Canada pageant for the years 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Being involved in the pageant world, I became involved in the beauty industry. <\/strong>” Jennifer shares.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

After years of practicing law, combining her work with Miss Universe Canada, Jennifer decided to create her own law firm, J.A.M. Law Professional Corporation<\/a>, and also entered the world of beauty with the launch of J.A.M. Beauty Inc<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGrowing up in a family business, business was in my blood. I saw first-hand what it took to run a successful business from my parents. I was brought up to believe that you can achieve anything you set your mind towith hard work and determination. The sky’s the limit.\u201d<\/strong>Jennifer says.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Today, Jennifer manages both businesses. J.A.M. Law Professional Corporation is located in Toronto andspecializes in personal injury law. She has extensive courtroom experience, including trial experience when she appeared as an attorney on successful trials before the Superior Court of Justice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, Jennifer started J.A.M. Beauty Inc., which focuses on beauty queens around the world. Her brand has different collections inspired by her career as a model and her walk through the world of diamonds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of J.A.M. Beauty Inc.\u2019s collections include: The Beauty Queen Palette, The Bronze Collection and The Gold Dust Collection, which is inspired by the gold dust left over from her father’s custom creations. Her metallic red lipstick, “Intermission”, sold out instantly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All J.A.M. Beauty Inc.\u2019s products are made in Canada with the exception of her cruelty-free lashes. The products are hypoallergenic and are not tested on animals. J.A.M. Beauty Inc. also complies with the European Union\u2019s regulations, which are one of the most restrictive. J.A.M. Beauty Inc.\u2019s skincare line is 98% botanical and free of harmful products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I was inspired to get into these industries and start these businesses because of my strong desire to succeed for a purpose much bigger than myself. Whether it was their never-give-up attitude, their strong work ethic, or their ability to take risks, my parents definitely inspired me.<\/strong>” Jennifer states.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

What makes the difference in the field of law is that Jennifer understands her competition. She first started practicing law for plaintiffs in the personal injury field, and then practiced insurance defense, focusing on motor vehicle and personal injury claims. As a former defense attorney, she understands the ins and outs of insurance companies to better handle her clients\u2019 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What sets J.A.M. Beauty Inc<\/a>. apart from other beauty brands is that all of their products are manufactured in Canada, with the exception of their cruelty-free eyelashes, and are non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, non-animal tested and Halal certified. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of her new projects for this year, Jennifer is one of the contributing authors (including Oprah Winfrey) to the book \u201cHeroes, Leaders and Legends: People of Passion and Purpose, Spreading Hope and Inspiration.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It is a book where Oprah Winfrey and 50 prestigious leaders such as Jack Canfield, Deepak Chopra, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Ginny Rometty and Mary Barra (to name a few) share inspirational life lessons on how to find and keep a hopeful attitude for a life of success and happiness. The book also pays tribute to Legends John Lewis and Maya Angelou\u201d <\/strong>She adds.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
