Feinstein’s absence could influence Democratic strategy in the Senate, as the Democratic Caucus controls the Senate by a 51-49 margin, and Sen. John Fetterman has also been hospitalized since last month undergoing treatment for depression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was diagnosed over the February break with a case of shingles,\u201d Feinstein said in her statement. \u201cI have been hospitalized and receiving treatment in San Francisco, and I hope to make a full recovery. I hope to return to the Senate at the end of this month.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
