Former US president Donald Trump has won the Michigan, Missouri and Idaho caucuses, continuing his march towards the Republican nomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr Trump’s last major rival, former UN ambassador Nikki Haley, is still searching for her first win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Missouri, Trump voter Tom Mendenall told the crowd: “Every 100 days, we’re spending $1trn, with money going all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Illegals are running across the border.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But Haley supporter Seth Christensen said Republicans needed a new direction, adding: “I don’t need to hear about Mr Trump’s dalliances with people of unsavory character, nor do my children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“If we put that man in the office, that’s what we’re going to hear about all the time – and I’m through with it.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With 75% of votes counted on Saturday night, Mr Trump had gained 51 of Missouri’s delegates, with another three still available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Michigan, Mr Trump won all 39 delegates allocated, although local media reports said many of the party’s grassroots members stayed away from the gathering due to a long-running fight over party leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Idaho, our partner network NBC News projected Mr Trump swept all 32 of the state’s delegates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
